Arima Nambi (2014) is a Tamil-language action thriller film directed by debutant Anand Shankar. The film stars Vikram Prabhu as Arjun Krishna, Priya Anand as Anamika Raghunath, and J. D. Chakravarthy as Rishi Dev. The story follows a BMW technician who investigates the kidnapping of his date and uncovers a political conspiracy involving a Union Minister. Drums Sivamani made his debut as music director for this film, with cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar. The film opened to positive reviews and became a commercial success, completing 100 days in theatres. It was remade in Telugu as Dynamite (2015). The film was released theatrically on 4 July 2014.

Storyline
Arjun, a car technician, meets Anamika and falls for her instantly. When she is kidnapped from her own apartment, Arjun runs to the police. But he soon discovers that the kidnapping is part of a deadly political cover-up. A powerful minister will do anything to keep a secret video hidden.
