Athiradi Padai(1994)
Athiradi Padai is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by R. K. Selvamani. The film stars Rahman, Roja, and Suman in lead roles, with Lakshmi, Vijayakumar, and Silk Smitha in supporting parts. The story follows an honest IAS officer who is attacked with acid after refusing to sell government land cheaply. Her daughter Bharathi seeks revenge after her mother is killed and her sister is raped. The film is loosely based on a real acid attack on an IAS officer named Chandralekha. It was released on 10 February 1994 and also dubbed in Telugu as Samaram. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Storyline
