
Veera(1994)
'Veera' is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Suresh Krissna and written by Panchu Arunachalam. The film stars Rajinikanth, Meena, and Roja in lead roles, with Janagaraj, Senthil, and Mahesh Anand in supporting parts. The story follows Muthuveerappan, a village idler who marries two women due to circumstances beyond his control and is forced to live a double life. The film is a remake of the Telugu film 'Allari Mogudu' (1992) and was tailored to Rajinikanth's style with added logic. It received mixed reviews from critics but became a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. The soundtrack, composed by Ilaiyaraaja, was highly popular and sold over 100,000 audio cassettes on its release date.

Storyline
A village idler named Muthuveerappan marries a musician's daughter in secret. After she is presumed dead in a flood, he moves to Madras and becomes a famous singer named Veera. He marries again. But then his first wife returns alive, forcing him to juggle two marriages and a dangerous gangster.
