
Jai Hind(1994)
Jai Hind is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action war film written and directed by Arjun Sarja. The film stars Arjun Sarja and Ranjitha in lead roles. It follows ACP Bharath, a patriotic police officer, who leads a mission to destroy a terrorist group after his brother is killed. The terrorists also assassinate the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Bharath recruits condemned prisoners and travels to a remote island for a final battle. The film was a commercial success upon its release on 20 May 1994. Its patriotic song 'Thayin Manikodi' remains popular and is played during Independence Day celebrations. A spiritual successor titled Jaihind 2 was released in 2014.

Storyline
