Kattalai(1993)
Kattalai is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Liaquat Ali Khan. It stars Sathyaraj as Sabarathnam and Bhanupriya as Vijaya. The story follows a young man who becomes the sole breadwinner for his family after his father refuses to work. He takes on corrupt local leaders who terrorize the poor. The film features a music score by Ilaiyaraaja, who replaced A. R. Rahman due to producer concerns. Critical reception was mixed, with some reviewers calling it a crude remake of the director's earlier film Ezhai Jaathi. Kattalai was released on 25 June 1993.

Storyline
Sabarathnam works hard to support his family because his lazy father refuses to get a job. When he sees rich bullies like Rangarajan hurting innocent people, he decides to fight back. His mission puts his life and his love for Vijaya in danger.
