Bhanupriya (born Manga Anandha Bhanu) is a Telugu and Tamil cinema actress who was one of the top mainstream stars of South Indian film from 1983 to 1995, appearing in approximately 165 feature films. She won the Nandi Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Telugu) for Swarnakamalam (1988), and received Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Aararo Ariraro (1989) and Azhagan (1991). Her Tamil filmography includes prominent roles in Amaran (1992), Thalapathi (1991), Pangali (1992), Uzhavan (1993), and Chakravarthy (1995), demonstrating her ability to work across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi industries simultaneously.
