Kaaval Geetham(1992)
Kaaval Geetham is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. It stars Vikram as Inspector Ashok and Sithara as crime journalist Priya. The story follows their investigation of a brutal acid attack murder and a domestic killing. Ashok saves a little girl from her murderous father Ramesh and his girlfriend Rathna. The film features a soundtrack by Ilaiyaraaja with six songs. It was released on 14 February 1992 on Valentine's Day. The movie is noted for blending romance with dark crime elements. Vikram later praised the director for giving him a chance to grow as an actor.

Storyline
Crime journalist Priya investigates a woman's rape and murder by acid attack. Inspector Ashok saves her from the killer's men and they fall in love. They then discover a little girl whose mother was killed by her own father. Ashok must protect the girl and bring the murderer to justice before he kills again.
