Sivashankari(1992)
Sivashankari is a 1992 Tamil devotional film directed by H.M. Reddy. The film stars Munipalle Venkata Subbaiah as Hiranyakashipu and Master Krishna as Prahlada. It also features Surabhi Kamalabai as Leelavathi and L.V. Prasad in a supporting role. The story follows the legend of Prahlada, a young devotee of Vishnu, and his conflict with his demon king father. The film is a remake of the 1932 Telugu classic Bhakta Prahlada. Storyline
A young boy named Prahlada refuses to stop worshipping Lord Vishnu. His father, the demon king Hiranyakashipu, hates Vishnu and orders his son to obey him. When Prahlada refuses, the king tries to kill him in many ways. Each time, Prahlada is saved by his faith. The king's rage grows until a divine being emerges to end the conflict.
