Storyline
Two boys, Gomathi and Kali, grow up like brothers in a travelling drama troupe. Kali is a gifted singer, but Gomathi is consumed by jealousy when their guru favours Kali. Their rivalry destroys their friendship, their careers, and their lives. Set against the backdrop of early Tamil theatre, this is a story of love, betrayal, and tragedy.
