Rudhra(1991)
Rudhra is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Sasi Mohan. The film stars K. Bhagyaraj, Gautami, Lakshmi, and Mansoor Ali Khan in lead roles. The story follows Rudhra, a young woman whose family is murdered by a criminal named Mayaandi. She discovers her father was investigating corrupt police officers and politicians. After killing a corrupt DSP in self-defence, she goes into hiding with the help of an honest officer and a clever thief. The film was inspired by the French film Nikita and the American film Quick Change. It was a Diwali release and ran for over 100 days in theatres. Gautami won the Film Fans Association Award for Best Actress for her performance.

Storyline
