Seetha(1990)
Seetha is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film stars Kanaka, Rahman, R. Sarathkumar, and Gautami in lead roles. The story follows Seetha, a village woman who refuses to marry a cruel landlord's son, leading to her father's murder and her escape to the city. There, she finds love with a police inspector but faces continued harassment from the villain. The film features a soundtrack composed by Vidyasagar with lyrics by Vaali and Pulamaipithan. It was released on 14 April 1990.

Storyline
Seetha returns to her village after studies and rejects the violent Boopathy's marriage proposal. He kills her father, forcing her to flee to the city. A police inspector named Vijay protects her, and they fall in love. But Boopathy follows her and teams up with a corrupt politician to destroy her new life.
