Backbench Student(2013)
Backbench Student is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. The film stars Mahat Raghavendra, Piaa Bajpai, and Archana Kavi in lead roles. The story follows Karthik, an engineering student who fails 16 subjects and loses his girlfriend and family support. He meets Chaitra, who helps him rebuild his life and find love again. The film was produced by Dr. M. V. K. Reddy under the Shirdi Sai Combines banner. It was shot in 55 days across Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The music by Sunil Kashyap received positive attention. Storyline
Karthik is a lazy engineering student with 16 failed subjects. His girlfriend leaves him for America, and his parents throw him out. Alone and jobless, he meets Chaitra, who gives him a second chance. But when his ex-girlfriend returns, Karthik must choose between his past and his future.
