Avunu is a 2012 Telugu-language horror thriller film written, produced, and directed by Ravi Babu. It stars Poorna and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles. The story follows a newly married couple who move into a house haunted by a voyeuristic spirit. The spirit becomes obsessed with the wife and attacks her. The film is loosely based on the 1982 American horror film The Entity. It was made on a budget of ₹45 lakhs and shot in 50 working days. The film received positive reviews for its storytelling and cinematography. Critics praised the bright lighting and background score. Avunu was later dubbed in Hindi as Aatma Ka Ghar.

Storyline
A newly married woman named Mohini moves into a new house with her husband Harsha. Unknown to them, a voyeuristic spirit lives in the house and becomes obsessed with her. The spirit watches her every move and eventually attacks her. Mohini must fight for her life against an invisible enemy.
