Prasthanam is a 2010 Indian Telugu-language political action thriller film written and directed by Deva Katta. The film stars Sharwanand, Sai Kumar, Sundeep Kishan in his acting debut, and Ruby Parihar. The story follows a rural politician named Loki who marries a widow to honor a dying man's wish, then must choose between protecting his criminal son and doing what is right. The film explores themes of greed, ambition, and the sins of the father being visited upon the children. It received positive reviews for Sai Kumar's powerful performance and won two Filmfare Awards South and two Nandi Awards. The film was also featured at the 41st International Film Festival of India in the Indian Panorama section. It was released on 16 April 2010.

Storyline
