Puli (2010) is a Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by S. J. Suryah. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as Komaram Puli, an IPS officer, alongside Nikesha Patel, Manoj Bajpayee, and Saranya Ponvannan. The story follows Puli as he leads a special police task force to dismantle a corrupt system and bring a powerful gangster to justice. The film features a soundtrack by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by Binod Pradhan. It was produced on a ₹40 crore budget and distributed by Geetha Arts. Despite a record-breaking audio sale and high pre-release hype, the film received negative reviews and failed at the box office. It was released on 10 September 2010.

Storyline
A pregnant woman vows that her unborn son will become a police officer after her husband is murdered by a gangster. Years later, her son Puli is a fearless IPS officer. He sets up a special task force to fight corruption. But he does not know that the gangster he is hunting is the same man who killed his father.
