
Bommarillu(2006)
Bommarillu is a 2006 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy family drama film directed and co-written by Bhaskar in his directorial debut. It stars Siddharth, Genelia, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The story follows Siddhu, a young man whose overbearing father Aravind controls every aspect of his life, from his career to his marriage. Siddhu falls in love with Hasini, a free-spirited girl, and must learn to stand up for himself. The film explores the father-son relationship with warmth and honesty. It was produced by Dil Raju and features music by Devi Sri Prasad. Bommarillu received critical acclaim and won several Nandi and Filmfare Awards. It was one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2006 and was remade in multiple languages. The film was re-released in theatres on 21 September 2024.

Storyline
