
Chatrapathi(2005)
Chatrapathi is a 2005 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by S.S. Rajamouli and co-written with V. Vijayendra Prasad. The film stars Prabhas in the title role, alongside Shriya Saran, Bhanupriya, Shafi, and Pradeep Rawat. The story follows Sivaji, a Sri Lankan refugee who gets separated from his mother after his brother falsely declares him dead. He grows up in the criminal docks of Visakhapatnam and becomes a rebel leader known as Chatrapathi. The film explores themes of maternal love, brotherly jealousy, and refugee exploitation. It was a commercial blockbuster and won two Nandi Awards for Best Supporting Actress and Best Music Director. The film was released on 29 September 2005.

Storyline
Sivaji is a Sri Lankan refugee who loses his mother in a fire. He lands at Vizag port, ruled by the cruel Baji Rao. As he grows up, he becomes a fearless fighter for the oppressed refugees. But his jealous brother Ashok joins forces with a powerful enemy to destroy him. Sivaji must fight for his family and his people.
