Swetha Naagu(2004)
Swetha Naagu is a 2004 Indian Telugu devotional horror film directed by Sanjeevi. It stars Soundarya as Madhumathi, with Abbas and Sarath Babu in supporting roles. The story follows a research scholar who ventures into a snake-infested forest to find an ancient book. She confronts a shape-shifting white snake demon named Swetha Naagu. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada, with the Kannada version titled Shwetha Naagara. A real white snake from Meghalaya was used in production. Soundarya died in a helicopter crash two months after the film's release. The film received mixed reviews but was noted for Soundarya's performance. It was partially reshot and dubbed in Tamil as Madhumathi.

Storyline
A research scholar named Madhumathi studies snakes for her thesis. She learns of a rare ancient book hidden in a dangerous forest. The forest is ruled by a white snake demon that can become a woman. Madhumathi must fight the demon to get the book and complete her work.
