A girl, much into anti suicidal campaigns commits suicide after six months of self-imposed marital bondage. What reflections do her death leave on her family and loved ones? This film, in a nutshell, is a journey of her ashes from Pondicherry to Dhanushkodj to be immersed by her family. The boy with whom she had been in love joins the journey at a juncture and what happens then is the film.

Storyline
A young woman who actively campaigned against suicide takes her own life after six months of a difficult marriage. Her family travels with her ashes from Pondicherry to Dhanushkodi for the final rites. During the journey, her former love joins them, and the trip becomes a time of reflection for everyone.
