- The script was partly inspired by 17th-century Telugu ballads about the real-life bandit Mallu Dora, blending folklore with a heist plot.
- Composer M. M. Keeravani recorded portions of the score using traditional instruments like the daf and veena to match the Mughal era setting.
- This is the first Telugu film to be shot extensively in the sandstone forts and deserts of Rajasthan for Mughal-era authenticity.
