Hindustan(2000)
Businessman is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language action crime film directed and written by Puri Jagannadh. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Prakash Raj, and Nassar in lead roles. The story follows Vijay Surya, a ruthless man who arrives in Mumbai with a grudge against the corrupt system and builds a criminal empire from the Dharavi slums. He uses his intelligence to legalize his mafia and take on a powerful politician. The film was produced by R. R. Venkat under the banner R. R. Movie Makers, with music composed by S. Thaman. Businessman was released on 14 January 2012 during the Sankranthi festival and became a major commercial success. It grossed over ₹71 crore worldwide and was praised for Mahesh Babu's performance and Puri Jagannadh's dialogues. The film received several award nominations, including Filmfare Awards South.

Storyline
Vijay Surya arrives in Mumbai with a single goal: to conquer the city. He starts from the slums of Dharavi, recruiting gangsters and winning over locals. But his real target is a corrupt minister who destroyed his family. Surya must build a legal business empire to fight the system and win the love of a police commissioner's daughter.
