Maa Annayya(2000)
Maa Annayya (transl. Our Elder Brother) is a 2000 Indian Telugu-language family drama film directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty. The film stars Rajasekhar in a dual role as Madhu and Gopalam, alongside Meena, Maheswari, Vineeth, Brahmaji, Deepti Bhatnagar, and Nassar. The story follows Madhu, who raises his three younger siblings alone after their parents die, sacrificing his own happiness for their future. The narrative explores the bonds of brotherhood and the challenges posed by a wealthy antagonist who opposes a love alliance. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Vaanathaippola (2000) and was a commercial success at the box office. Its soundtrack, composed by S. A. Rajkumar, features popular songs like Neeli Ningilo and Maa Logililo Pandedantha. The film was released in December 2000.

Storyline
After losing both parents, Madhu becomes the sole guardian of his three younger siblings. He works tirelessly to provide for them and delays his own marriage. His brother Sekhar falls in love with Nandini, but her wealthy father despises Madhu's poor family. The villain uses his power to tear the family apart. Madhu must fight to reunite his loved ones and keep his promise to his parents.
