Baavagaru Bagunnara is a 1998 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee and produced by Nagendra Babu under Anjana Productions. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Rambha, and Rachana Banerjee, with Paresh Rawal, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Brahmanandam in supporting roles. The story follows Raju, a restaurant owner in New Zealand who pretends to be the husband of a pregnant woman to save her from social shame, while also navigating his love for another woman. The film is loosely inspired by the Hollywood film A Walk in the Clouds and incorporates significant comedic elements. It was a major commercial success, praised for its soundtrack by Mani Sharma, Chiranjeevi's real bungee jump stunt, and its visually appealing New Zealand locations. Storyline
Raju, a kind restaurant owner in New Zealand, falls in love with a student named Swapna. When he travels to India, he saves a pregnant woman named Sandhya from suicide and pretends to be her husband to protect her family honor. His lies catch up with him when Swapna arrives and thinks he is married.
