Chinnabbayi is a 1997 Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by K. Viswanath and produced by M. Narasimha Rao under Raasi Movies. The film stars Venkatesh, Ramya Krishnan, and Ravali in lead roles. The story follows Sundarayya, an orphan who longs for a family and falls in love with Indira Devi, a woman from a wealthy household. Her family opposes the match due to his lack of social standing. The film explores themes of identity, belonging, and love overcoming societal barriers. It features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. Despite a strong cast and crew, the film was a box office flop. It was later dubbed in Tamil as College Galatta.

Storyline
