Maavichiguru (1996) is an Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy. The film stars Jagapathi Babu, Aamani, and Ranjitha in lead roles. It follows a wife who pretends to be jealous and divorces her husband so he can remarry after her death from a heart condition. The film won three Nandi Awards, including Best Actor for Jagapathi Babu and Best Supporting Actress for Ranjitha. Its soundtrack, featuring the chartbuster 'Maataivvamma', was also critically acclaimed. The film was remade in Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil. It is available for streaming on Prime Video.

Storyline
Madhu is a married man with a possessive wife, Seeta. When a cheerful secretary named Sudha enters his life, Seeta's jealousy explodes. She forces a divorce and leaves. But Seeta has a secret: she is dying and wants Madhu to marry Sudha after she is gone.
