S. V. Krishna Reddy (full name Satti Venkata Krishna Reddy) is a Telugu cinema director, screenwriter, composer, and actor known primarily for comedy films in the Telugu film industry. His debut film Kobbari Bondam (1991) was a commercial success, and he won the Filmfare Best Telugu Director Award in 1994 for Shubha Lagnam and the Nandi Special Jury Award in 1997 for Aahwanam. He has directed over 20 Telugu films across three decades, including Rajendrudu Gajendrudu (1993), Yamaleela (1994), and Premaku Velayara (1999), consistently working in the comedy and family entertainer genres. Before entering cinema, he worked in Hyderabad running a sweet shop after post-graduating in Bheemavaram, and later expanded into Hollywood with the American romantic comedy Divorce Invitation (2012).
