Police Story is a 1996 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Thriller Manju. The film stars Sai Kumar, Shobaraj, Satya Prakash, and Avinash in lead roles. It follows Agni, a short-tempered police officer who fights against two gangsters and a corrupt system. The film was simultaneously dubbed into Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. It was a commercial success and established Sai Kumar as a major action star. The film spawned two sequels and a spiritual sequel titled Agni IPS.

Storyline
Agni is an honest but violent police officer. He clashes with two gangsters who terrorize Bangalore. After his brother is killed, Agni goes on a personal mission to destroy the criminal network. He discovers that a dead gangster is actually alive and running the operation.
