Taj Mahal is a 1995 Telugu-language romance film directed by Muppalaneni Shiva and produced by D. Ramanaidu. The film stars Srikanth, Monica Bedi, and Sanghavi in lead roles. The story follows Amar, a wealthy young man who falls in love with Mumtaz, a poor girl selling Taj Mahal souvenirs in Agra. Their relationship faces strong opposition from both families due to class differences and a hidden secret from Mumtaz's past. The music was composed by M. M. Srilekha, with lyrics by C. Narayana Reddy, Chandrabose, Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, and Bhuvana Chandra. This film marked Srikanth's first successful outing as a lead actor and the debut of lyricist Chandrabose. Srihari won the Nandi Award for Best Villain for his performance as Emraan Bhai.
