→Trivia
- The film was originally titled 'Joker' to highlight the lead character's playful, mischievous nature in love.
- Director Vamsy also composed the film's music, which was uncommon for him at the time.
- The movie was shot in just 40 days, a very short schedule for a Telugu film in the early 1990s.
- It was inspired by the 1989 Hindi film 'Maine Pyar Kiya', adapting its core love story with a different setting.
- The film marked one of the early leading roles for actor Rajendra Prasad, who became known for such comic roles.
- Many scenes were filmed in real heritage homes in Andhra Pradesh to give an authentic family feel.
- Despite mixed reviews initially, the film gained a cult following over the years for its lighthearted comedy.
