'Shootout at Wadala' is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action crime film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. It dramatizes the 1982 encounter killing of gangster Manya Surve by Bombay police at Wadala. The story follows Manya's transformation from a college student into a feared underworld figure after his brother's murder in prison. Based on Hussain Zaidi's book 'Dongri to Dubai', the film received mixed reviews but grossed over ₹82 crore at the box office. It features item numbers by Sunny Leone and Priyanka Chopra. The film is a prequel to the 2007 film 'Shootout at Lokhandwala'.

Storyline
Manya Surve is a bright college student in love with Vidya. After his brother is killed in prison, Manya escapes jail and forms his own gang. He seeks revenge against the gangsters and corrupt police who destroyed his life. But his rise to power leads to a deadly confrontation with the police at Wadala.
