Storyline

- Farhan Akhtar trained for over a year to get an athlete's body and ran a full 400m race in 51 seconds during filming.
- The film's title song 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy but the lyrics were written by Prasoon Joshi in just 20 minutes.
- Milkha Singh refused to take any payment for his life rights and instead asked for a trust to be created for needy athletes.
