Shuddh Desi Romance, also known internationally as A Pure Desi Romance, is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, and Vaani Kapoor in her debut role, with Rishi Kapoor in a supporting part. Set in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the story follows a commitment-phobic tourist guide who flees his arranged marriage and enters a live-in relationship with a free-spirited woman. Storyline
Raghu is a tourist guide in Jaipur who runs away from his own wedding after kissing a stranger named Gayatri. They start a live-in relationship, but both are terrified of marriage. When Gayatri leaves him, Raghu meets Tara, the woman he was supposed to marry. Old feelings return, and Raghu must choose between two women and his fear of commitment.
