Maneesh attended Delhi Public School, R K Puram, before pursuing a degree in English literature at Hans Raj College, Delhi University. During his college days, his passion for storytelling bloomed as he actively participated in the theatre society, culminating in the creation of his debut film in 2010. Post-graduation, he ventured to California to hone his filmmaking skills at CalArts.\r\n\r\nPrior to his Mumbai stint, Maneesh was deeply involved in Delhi's theatre scene and showcased his talents as a dancer in a local musical ensemble.
