John Day is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Ahishor Solomon. The film stars Naseeruddin Shah as a grieving bank manager and Randeep Hooda as a violent police officer. Elena Kazan, Shernaz Patel, and Sharat Saxena appear in supporting roles. The story follows John Day, a bank manager whose daughter died in a suspicious fire. Years later, he discovers the fire was murder and begins a brutal quest for revenge. The film is an unofficial remake of the Spanish thriller 'La Caja 507' (2002). It is known for its graphic violence, lack of songs, and intense performances. The film received mixed reviews but was praised for its bold storytelling. It was produced by Anjum Rizvi Film Company and released on September 13, 2013.

Storyline
John Day is a bank manager still grieving his daughter's death in a fire. When his wife is attacked and left in a coma, John discovers the fire was murder. He begins a violent hunt for the corrupt politicians and gangsters responsible. But his quest for justice turns him into a beast.
