Dhoom 3 (transl. Blast 3) is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. It stars Aamir Khan in a dual role as twin brothers Sahir and Samar, with Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprising their roles as A.C.P. Jai Dixit and Sub Inspector Ali. Katrina Kaif and Jackie Shroff appear in supporting roles. The plot follows Sahir, a circus performer turned bank robber who seeks revenge against the Western Bank of Chicago for his father's suicide. The film was the first Hindi movie released in IMAX and used Dolby Atmos sound. It received mixed reviews from critics but became the highest-grossing Indian film of all time at its release, earning over ₹556 crore worldwide. The film was screened at the 2014 International Film Festival of India in the Celebrating Dance in Indian Cinema section.
Dhoom 3 is streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video since 20 April 2014.
