Trivia
- The film's title 'Teen Thay Bhai' is a playful twist on the popular Hindi phrase 'teen tigada kaam bigada', which means three people together often spoil the work.
- Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba later gained major fame for directing the hit 'Fukrey' series, making this one of his early directorial works.
- Actor Om Puri, who played the grandfather, filmed his scenes in just a few days due to his busy schedule, with his character mainly appearing in flashbacks.
- The movie was shot extensively in the snowy landscapes of Manali, Himachal Pradesh, standing in for the story's remote inherited mansion location.
- Despite starring popular actors like Shreyas Talpade and Deepak Dobriyal, the film had a very limited theatrical release and low box office earnings.
- The script was developed at the Sundance Institute's Screenwriters Lab in 2008, highlighting its focus on character-driven comedy.
- A subplot involving a fake dentist was inspired by real-life reports of dental frauds common in some parts of North India.
