Trivia

  • The film was shot almost entirely at a real abandoned railway station in Maharashtra.
  • It was director Maneej Premnath's first and only feature film before returning to short films.
  • The movie had a very limited theatrical release and is now primarily known through DVD and digital platforms.
  • The claustrophobic setting was inspired by classic 'bottle episode' thrillers from Hollywood and television.
  • A real, heavy monsoon was used during filming, which caused several schedule delays.
  • The poster and title deliberately recall the style of 1970s Hindi horror and mystery B-movies.
  • The actor playing the station master was a local theater artist from the region where it was shot.
