Striker(2010)
Striker is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language action drama film co-written, directed and produced by Chandan Arora. The film stars Siddharth, Usha Jadhav, and Padmapriya in lead roles, with Aditya Pancholi, Ankur Vikal, Anupam Kher, Seema Biswas, and Anup Soni in supporting roles. Set in the Malvani slums of Mumbai, the story follows Suryakant Sarang, a gifted carrom player who falls into the world of underground carrom hustling after being cheated of his life savings. He must confront the local crime boss Jaleel, who controls the slums. The film is noted for its gritty realism, authentic performances, and its unique release strategy as the first Indian film to premiere on YouTube internationally on the same day as its theatrical release on 5 February 2010. Storyline
Suryakant Sarang is a poor boy from Mumbai's Malvani slums with a gift for carrom. After losing his life savings to a fraud, he is drawn into the dangerous world of carrom hustling. He must use his skill and patience to survive and take on the ruthless crime boss Jaleel who controls his neighborhood.
