Full Plot

Sugan is a womanizer who works at a tractor company in Chennai. He loves biryani and often fights with his girlfriend Priyanka, a TV journalist. His best friend Parasuram is always with him. They attend a branch opening ceremony where the chief guest is Varadharajan, a wealthy businessman. CBI officer Riyaz Ahmed is secretly tracking Varadharajan's illegal activities. Varadharajan is impressed by Sugan and wants him to marry his daughter. This angers his elder son-in-law Vijaykrishna.

Varadharajan hosts a cocktail party and invites Sugan and Parasuram. They get very drunk. Sugan craves biryani and drags Parasuram to find a shop. They meet a prostitute named Maya who spikes their drinks with drugs. They pass out completely. The next morning, they find Varadharajan's corpse in their car trunk. Police chase them, and they are blamed for the murder. This is where the movie begins.

Sugan and Parasuram go to a friend's house. Parasuram sends a picture of Maya to his friends. One friend finds Maya at Egmore Railway Station. Sugan goes there, and Maya confesses that a police officer ordered her to spike their drinks. Before she can reveal more, a female cop kills Maya. Sugan realizes the cop is an assassin. The assassin then kidnaps Sugan's sister Varalakshmi. Sugan gets a call from Vijaykrishna, who demands Varadharajan alive in exchange for Varalakshmi.

Sugan decides to make Parasuram impersonate Varadharajan since the real one is dead. He brings Parasuram to the meeting. But the call was a trap. Vijaykrishna and the assassin try to kill Sugan. ACP Vikram, another police officer, arrives and kills the female assassin. He returns Varalakshmi safely. At Varadharajan's funeral, Sugan learns the truth. A man named Avinash wanted to marry Varadharajan's daughter for money. Sugan and Parasuram accidentally stopped their love affair on the way to the branch opening.

Avinash used his brother ACP Vikram to frame Sugan and Parasuram. Maya was their accomplice. Vikram killed Maya to silence her. CBI officer Riyaz discovers the truth and tells Sugan to kill Vikram. Sugan fights Vikram in an office building. They both fall from a high floor into a swimming pool below. The film does not show if they survive. The ending is left open and mysterious.
