
Biriyani(2013)
Biriyani is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language black comedy action thriller film directed and written by Venkat Prabhu. It stars Karthi as Sugan, a womanizer with a weakness for biryani, alongside Hansika Motwani, Premgi Amaren, Nassar, Ramki, and Sampath Raj. The story follows Sugan and his friend Parasuram after a drunken night leads them to find a dead businessman in their car trunk, forcing them to go on the run from police and assassins. The film is noted for its blend of humor, suspense, and a twisty plot, and was inspired by the 2004 American film Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle. It was a commercial success and features a soundtrack by Yuvan Shankar Raja, marking his 100th film as a composer. Biriyani was released on 20 December 2013 in over 1050 screens worldwide.

Storyline
After a night of heavy drinking, Sugan and his best friend Parasuram wake up to find a dead body in their car trunk. They are immediately framed for murder and chased by police. As they try to clear their names, they uncover a web of deceit involving a corrupt police officer, a mysterious woman, and a missing businessman. Their only goal is to survive and find the truth.
