J. Suresh is an Indian film director, writer, and actor working in Tamil cinema, best known for helming romantic and drama films across the late 1990s and 2000s. His directorial debut Velai (1998) was written by noted Tamil author Balakumaran and featured music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, followed by Ennavale (2000), a romantic film that introduced actress Sneha to Tamil cinema and starred R. Madhavan in a prominent role. His third directorial venture, Junior Senior (2002), was a romantic comedy starring Mammootty, shot entirely in Kuala Lumpur and centered on two friends falling for the same woman. He later expanded into music composition with Paraseega Mannan (2012), which he also directed and acted in, and returned to direction with Mr. Zoo Keeper (2025).
