Biography
Rajavarman is a Tamil film director who began his career as a story writer and associate director on films such as Enga Ooru Kavakkaran and Paandi Nattu Thangam. He made his directorial debut with Thanga Manasukkaran (1992), starring Murali and Sivaranjani, with music by Ilaiyaraaja and featuring Goundamani and Senthil in supporting roles. He followed with two more directorial efforts — Manikuyil (1993) and Thangakkili (1993), both also starring Murali, with Thangakkili featuring a screenplay he also wrote. All three of his known directorial works were released within a narrow two-year window in the early 1990s.
