Biography

Bhargavi was a Telugu film and television actress born in 1983 in Gorantla, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, who gained recognition through both small-screen work and films. She debuted on film in Devadasu (2006), directed by YVS Chowdary, and earned her most noted role as Varalakshmi in Ashta Chamma (2008), a Telugu comedy inspired by Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Prior to her film career, she worked as a TV anchor on popular Telugu shows including Aata and Maa Voori Vanta, and performed as a dancer with the Sai Baba Orchestra in Nellore. She died on 16 December 2008 in Hyderabad under tragic circumstances, with her film Holidays (2009) releasing posthumously.
