His notable works include Ninnu Choodalani (2001), which marked the debut of N. T. Rama Rao Jr., and Gorintaku (2008), a commercially successful Telugu remake of the Kannada film Anna Thangi (2005) starring Rajasekhar and Meera Jasmine. His directorial style centered on emotional family narratives, as seen in Gorintaku's portrayal of sibling relationships disrupted by marriage.
