Gorintaku(2008)
Gorintaku is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language melodrama film directed by V. R. Prathap. It stars Rajasekhar in a dual role, alongside Meera Jasmine, Aarthi Agarwal, and Akash. The story follows a brother and sister whose inseparable bond is destroyed by a greedy aunt. Set in a rural village, the film explores themes of sibling love, betrayal, and tragedy. It is a remake of the Kannada film Anna Thangi. The music was composed by S. A. Rajkumar. The film was released on 4 July 2008 and was a commercial success. It was later dubbed and released in Tamil as Maruthani in 2010.

Storyline
Ashok and Lakshmi are orphaned siblings who love each other deeply. They marry their perfect matches on the same day. But a cruel aunt enters their lives and creates chaos. She causes a miscarriage, steals property, and turns family against family. The bond between brother and sister is tested to its breaking point.
