Biography
Chandra Mahesh is a Telugu film director from East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, best known for his work in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut with the 1999 romance film Preyasi Raave, starring Srikanth and Raasi, produced by D. Ramanaidu, and won the Best Debut Director award at the AP Cinegoers Awards for 1999-2000. His 2006 film Hanumanthu, starring Srihari, received the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. He later directed the trilingual thriller Red Alert (2015) spanning Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam.
