He is best known for directing Chitram Bhalare Vichitram (1991), which ran over 200 days in Telugu states, and Manavarali Pelli (1993). Over his career he directed and produced films across Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada industries, producing a total of 12 films. His later directorial works include Golmaal (2003) and Abhinandane (2005).
