Sachin Gupta is an Indian film director, writer, and producer based in New Delhi, primarily known for his work in Hindi cinema and theatre. He made his feature film directorial debut with 'Paranthe Wali Gali' (2014), followed by the romantic comedy 'Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq' (2015) and 'Pakhi' (2018), all produced under his banner Chilsag Motion Pictures. A trained actor from the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, Gupta founded the Chilsag Chillies Theatre Company in 2002 and staged over 100 theatrical productions worldwide, earning the 'Natya Bhushan' national award in 2011 for his contributions to Hindi theatre. His work consistently bridges theatre and cinema, addressing social themes across more than 13 original stage productions.
