Shekhar Suman is a Hindi cinema actor, anchor, and director born in Patna, Bihar, known for his work across film and television in Bollywood. He made his film debut in Utsav (1984), directed by Girish Karnad and produced by Shashi Kapoor, alongside Rekha, followed by notable roles in Sansar (1987) and Pati Parmeshwar (1990). Beyond acting, he became widely recognised as a television host and made his directorial debut with Heartless (2014), a romantic medical thriller he also produced as a tribute to his late son Aayush.
