Jr. NTR to replace Vijay in Kaththi remake

Vijay’s 57th film, Kaththi which became a blockbuster hit in Tamil will be remade in Telugu with Junior NTR doing the male lead. Gopichand Malineni, the director who made the Bodyguard (remake of Vijay’s Kaavalan in Tamil) in Telugu will be making for this flick too. In addition to this, A.R.Murugadoss has decided to make minor changes in the story to suit the Telugu audience as a story unique for Jr. NTR from the request by the producer.

The famous OK Bangaram distributor, Dil Raju will be funding for this movie under Sri Venkateswara Creations. On the other side, the dubbed version of Jilla is running throughout Andhra in 400 theatres and grossing the collections. Earlier talks went with Pawan Kalyan but now it is the turn of Jr. NTR to outrun the dual role done by Vijay and make a hit in Telugu too.
